🌟 Toddler Program
Language Development and Early Literacy
Toddlers are bursting with new words and ideas, and our program channels that excitement into joyful learning. Through engaging conversations, labeling objects, and describing experiences, children discover how words connect to their world. Inspired by Funnydaffer’s creative lesson plans, our teachers use books, nursery rhymes, finger plays, and interactive stories as seeds of discovery that nurture curiosity and build comprehension. By making language playful and exciting, we help toddlers grow into eager readers and communicators.
Developmental and Social Skills
As toddlers practice jumping, hopping, and dancing, they’re also strengthening their confidence and independence. Our classrooms embrace music, movement, and imaginative play, building coordination while sparking creativity. Just as important, toddlers learn patience, sharing, and empathy — social “first steps” that set the stage for lifelong relationships. With teachers modeling kindness and encouragement, every routine and responsibility becomes a discovery moment, building both independence and teamwork.
Outdoor Adventures
With seven acres of outdoor space and age-specific playgrounds, our toddlers are free to explore the world around them. Running, climbing, and playing side by side builds motor skills and resilience, while also fueling a sense of wonder. Teachers act as guides and cheerleaders, helping children see every leaf, rock, and sandbox adventure as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Nurturing Character
At BELA, we believe the seeds of character are planted early. By weaving Funnydaffer’s spirit of creativity and discovery into daily experiences, our teachers encourage patience, kindness, and bravery. With positive modeling and loving guidance, toddlers grow into learners who explore with confidence, dream boldly, and step into the world with compassion.
Building Toward Kindergarten Readiness
By integrating learning and play in every moment, BELA’s toddler program supports the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically — laying the foundation for kindergarten readiness and a lifelong love of learning.
