Enrollment Policies and Procedures

Based on the availability and openings, our facility admits children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age into our classrooms. When families choose to enroll their child they will pay a registration fee of $125 and are required to leave a deposit of one week' s tuition. This deposit will hold your child' s spot for 30 days and is non-refundable should you not attend.

Admission to our program is extended to all children without regard to ethnicity, religion, creed, gender, and disability within safety limits.

Children's Files

All children must have a personal file completed upon their first day of attendance. This file consists of the following forms:

1. Application
2. Emergency contact form
3. Child Health Assessment
4. Parent Consent
5. Non Discrimination form
6. Getting to Know Me form
7. Medical plan (if needed)

Please note we are required to update items on file on a regular basis. If your child’s file falls out of date they will not be able to attend our program until it is in compliance. Our staff will notify you when an item needs to be updated and we ask that you make every effort to ensure it is returned in a timely manner.

Tuition/Payments/Other Fees

A registration fee of $125 is due at the time of enrollment and is non-refundable. In addition, a one-week tuition deposit is required for each child enrolled, which is held without interest, and will be applied to the last week of your child’ s enrollment. Tuition is due the Friday prior to service and can be paid via our website. BELA will add a $5 per day tuition late fee to payments not made on Fridays, and after three (3) days your child will not be able to return to the program pending full payment. Tuition is due regardless of holidays, illness, or the centers need to close for inclement weather. Families must give the center two weeks notice if they decide to withdraw from the program.

Attendance

Children will be permitted to attend on the days agreed to on the parent agreement. Days may only be changed through approval of the Director. Children will not be permitted to attend school if in violation of health and safety rules and or tuition discrepancies. All children should arrive at the program no later than 9am. If your child has an appointment that requires them to arrive later, please let classroom staff know ahead of time.

Absences and Vacations

If your child will be absent we ask you to notify their teacher in Class Dojo before 9 am. Tuition is due regardless of your child’ s absence. Each family will receive one week of vacation time per year in which they will not be required to make tuition payments. We ask that families provide the center two weeks' notice of their scheduled vacation time.

Confidentiality

Any information regarding your child will not be released without first receiving written permission from the legal parent/guardian. All of our staff have signed a confidentiality clause as part of our employee handbook and will be expected to fulfill their obligation about privacy. All records on children and families are stored in a safe location with access only to administration and teachers. The only time information will be shared without consent is through a court subpoena or as mandated reporters of child abuse/neglect.

Late Pickup Fees

Our hours of operation are 7am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Beginning at 5:30 a late fee of $5 per minute will begin to accrue. This fee must be paid before your child can return to our program. Families who are frequently late picking up may be terminated from our program.
